Delgado’s Ethan Lege named TCL Player of Year

Delgado third baseman Ethan Lege has been the Texas Collegiate League Player of the Year after an outstanding summer.

Lege hit .364 with three home runs, 14 RBI, 9 stolen bases and 36 runs scored for the Acadiana Cane Cutters.

The Vermilion Catholic product originally signed with Nicholls State and spent one year with the Colonels before he transferred to Delgado.

Lege batted .397 with eight home runs and 41 RBI for the Dolphins in 2021, helping lead Delgado to another Region 23 title.
