Delgado falls to Copiah-Lincoln, 97-75

The Delgado Men’s team fell to Copiah-Lincoln 97-75 Thursday in the Michael Williamson Center.

Copiah-Lincoln led 48-29 at the half and throughout the second half, with Delgado coming within nine points before the Wolfpack went on a double digit run to expand their lead.

The Delgado effort was led by Bennie Amos with 22 points, Keyon Giroir with 19, and Devin Lewis who had 17. Amos and Lewis each had seven rebounds. Co-Lin’s AJ Warnsley led the pack with 20 points.

Delgado travels to Shreveport Monday and Tuesday of next week to participate in the Decari Markray Classic.
