A four-year starter for the Raiders, Cook batted .362 with 23 RBI and nine stolen bases this past season. Cook played second base for Rummel.
Cook is the younger brother of former Rummel star and current Loyola player Zach Cook.
This summer, Cook is playing for the independent Gibbs Construction Cardinals American Legion team.
“Tyler is a very tough kid,” Rummel coach Frank Cazeaux said. “He was very good for us this past season. He is very smart, a heady baserunner and a solid hitter. He played shortstop when we needed him to. Delgado is getting a fine player. He will be a good fit and will be very successful there.”
