Davon Godchaux hosts free youth football camp Saturday in Plaquemine

Davon Godchaux

Davon Godchaux, defensive tackle for the New England Patriots, will be hosting a free youth football camp on Saturday, June 18th at Plaquemine High School in Plaquemine. The camp is for boys and girls ages 7-16 and will feature skills and drills led by Davon Godchaux. There will also be a 7 on 7 aftercamp that will be ages 12-16 only.

The camp runs from 9:00am – 12:00pm. The 7 on 7 will take place immediately after the camp concludes.

Each camper will receive a free camp t-shirt, free lunch and giveaways from Bombas, Jabra, Pluckers and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Godchaux is a Plaquemine native. He played college football at Louisiana State University before being drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He played for the Dolphins until he signed with the Patriots in 2021.
