DJ Augustin

D.J. Augustin has gone from a contender to a bottom feeder through a trade Wednesday.

The former Brother Martin star was traded from the Bucks to the Rockets, along with D.J. Wilson and a 2023 first-round pick, in exchange for P.J. Tucker and Rodions Kurucs, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

After signing with Milwaukee in November, Augustin is shooting just 37.0 percent from the field and averaging 6.1 points and 3.0 assists in 37 games.

Selected with the ninth overall pick out of Texas in the 2008 NBA Draft by Charlotte, the point guard Augustin has played with eight teams in his NBA career.
