Cross Country: Holy Cross Dominates Holy Cross/Dominican Boys’ Invitational Meet
The Holy Cross Dominican Invitational is always a highly anticipated event during the cross country season, with fierce competition every year.
This Saturday, however, the story was Holy Cross’ dominance of their own meet to claim the title.
Mandeville’s own junior Max Jacketti went on to win the boys’ varsity race as a whole with a time of 16:34.

With Holy Cross’s three top 10 finishers in Loubat with Landon Davis and Luke Davis, the Tigers were able to edge out Brother Martin and E.D. White. Holy Cross’s fourth-seventh performers all finished within the top 25 as well, with senior Gage Baldassaro placing 11th, freshman Keegan Martin placing 19th, freshman Gabriel Suarez placing 22nd, and senior Wyatt Audler placing 25th, propelling them to a first-place finish.
