Crescent City Sports to live stream Holy Cross-St. Paul’s football playoff game Friday

A first-round matchup in the Division I Louisiana high school football playoffs between Holy Cross and St. Paul’s will be streamed live on CrescentCitySports.com Friday night.

The live stream from Hunter Stadium in Covington will begin at 6:50 p.m., with kickoff at 7. Lenny Vangilder and Wayde Keiser will describe the action.

The meeting between the Tigers (5-5) and Wolves (6-4) is the first since 2006.

St. Paul’s is the No. 7 seed in Division I, while Holy Cross is seeded 10th. The teams have two common opponents during the season, with each defeating Jesuit and losing to Covington.

Friday’s winner advances to face No. 2 seed John Curtis in the Division I quarterfinals next Friday.

Crescent City Sports will feature live streaming of no fewer than 30 high school sporting events throughout the 2017-18 school year.
