The first Catholic League football matchup on Tulane’s campus in nearly 40 years will be streamed live on CrescentCitySports.com Friday night.

Crescent City Sports has the District 9-5A matchup between Archbishop Rummel and Jesuit from Tulane’s Yulman Stadium. The live stream will begin just prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff. Lenny Vangilder and Wayde Keiser will describe the action.

The Raiders-Blue Jays matchup is the second high school game to be played at Yulman, which opened in 2014.

Before Tulane Stadium was torn down in 1980, it was regularly the site of Catholic League matchups, including the 1963 Class AAA state championship matchup between Jesuit and Holy Cross.

Both teams are looking to bounce back from district defeats last week. Rummel lost to Holy Cross in double overtime last Friday night at Tad Gormley, while Jesuit fell to John Curtis at the Shrine on Airline.

The two teams are meeting for the seventh time in four seasons. In addition to the district matchups in the regular season, the Raiders and Blue Jays have faced each other in the Division I playoffs each of the last three years.

Crescent City Sports will feature live streaming of no fewer than 30 high school sporting events throughout the 2017-18 school year.
