Justin Ibieta named GNO QB Club Prep Player of Week (Ken Trahan)
Country Day senior quarterback Justin Ibieta has been named the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club, CrescentCitySports.com, 106.1 FM NASH ICON and Friday Night Football Prep Player of the Week for Week three.
A Tulane commitment, Ibieta completed 19-of-28 passes for 254 yards and six touchdowns and rushed nine times for 63 yards in a 48-35 victory over previously unbeaten Episcopal, overcoming a two-score deficit for the victory.
Ibieta is coached by Joe Chango. He will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club on December 17 at Rock’n.Bowl.
