Clemson linebacker Mike Jones Jr. to transfer to LSU

With open scholarships remaining in the 2021 recruiting class, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron said he planned to hit the transfer portal to fill immediate needs on next year’s roster.

247 Sports reports Clemson linebacker Mike Jones Jr. has decided to transfer to LSU. The 6-foot, 200-pound sophomore will be eligible to play immediately in 2021. Jones was a starting linebacker for Clemson last season.

LSU now has just one available scholarship spot in the 2021 class.
