Chapelle handles Cabrini in prep bowling league
Archbishop Chapelle opened Greater New Orleans Prep Bowling league action with a solid 21-6 victory over always tough Cabrini Monday at AMF All-Star Lanes in Kenner.
The Chipmunks took game one 5-3 as Bailey Hymel fired a 206 game. Chapelle extended the lead in game two with a 6-2 victory as Jessica Ladd shot a 192 game. The Chipmunks wrapped up the victory with a 7-1 win in game three as Sarah Rubi had a 186 game.
Hymel was best with a 527 series for Chapelle while Ladd had a 510 series. Kayla Gallagher was best for the Crescents with a 486 series, including games of 175 and 172.
