Area Prep Soccer Report for Tuesday, Jan. 18

The latest Louisiana High School Soccer Coaches Association Top 10 boys rankings have Catholic of Baton Rouge on top in Division I with eight first-place votes. Rival St. Amant is second with Jesuit and Alexandria each tied for third with each receiving a first-place vote. St. Paul’s is fifth with Archbishop Rummel sixth.

St. Thomas More is now on top in Division II with Holy Cross now second. Ben Franklin is third with East Jefferson fourth and Caddo Magnet fifth. Bonnabel is sixth.

University High and Lusher Charter are tied for first in Division III for the top spot. Vandebilt Catholic is third with Bossier fourth and St. Louis Catholic fifth. New Orleans Military & Maritime is up to sixth with Archbishop Hannan ninth.

Pope John Paul II and Episcopal share the top spot in Division IV. Northlake Christian is third with Newman fifth. St. Martin’s Episcopal is ninth and Morris Jeff Community is tied for tenth.
