Burroughs, Young and Bradley named GCAC Volleyball Weekly Award Winners

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Dillard’s Chloe Young makes her fourth appearance in five weeks while a pair of Lady Tornadoes; Reanna Burroughs and Esheallah Bradley, claim their first GCAC Volleyball Players of the Week awards this season.

Burroughs averaged 3.61 kills (65 total) over five matches with a hitting percentage of 0.275. The Mobile, Alabama native also contributed a fair amount on the defensive end of the court with 1.11 digs per set (20 total) to go along with three aces, two blocks and two assists.

Young totaled 79 digs (5.64 per set), eight aces (0.57 per set), eight assists and a kill while guiding the Lady Bleu Devils to four consecutive victories to run its winning streak to 12 in-a-row.

Bradley had ten-plus assists in all five matches including two assist-dig double-doubles while smacking six aces and even registering a block. The setter from Los Angeles, California also posted ten kills while averaging 5.06 assists and 2.39 digs for the week.
