Brother Martin-Rummel baseball game to be broadcast Saturday evening on WGSO

The Catholic League contest between Brother Martin and Archbishop Rummel will air live Saturday night on WGSO 990AM and at WGSO.com.

The play-by-play set for 7 p.m. from Mike Miley Stadium. The game was originally scheduled for Kirsch-Rooney Stadium but has been moved to the Metairie facility, which has a turf infield.

WGSO Sports Director Ken Trahan will have the call of the game while coach Danny Riehm will provide analysis.

The Crusaders are 18-5 and 4-3 in District 9-5A, heading into a district battle Friday afternoon with Holy Cross. Brother Martin is third in the Division I power ratings.

The Raiders are 15-9 and 2-4 in league play. Rummel is currently seventh in the Division I power ratings.
