Brother Martin rolls past Chalmette to remain unbeaten

Brother Martin’s bowling team will once again head to the postseason unbeaten.

The Crusaders concluded an unblemished regular season with a 24-3 victory over Chalmette Thursday at Colonial Lanes in Harahan.

Jonathan Fernandez led Brother Martin with a 608 series, closing the day with a 237 game, and Brennan Brouillette had a 601, including games of 229 and 226, for the Crusaders.

Brother Martin’s leading average bowler, Cody Schaffer, bowled two of the three games and closed his regular season with a 227 game.

Sebastian Maher paced Chalmette with a 501 series. Timothy Melerine had a 201 game for the Owls.

Brother Martin will be the top seed in the New Orleans area regional later this month at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner.
