Brother Martin playoff baseball to air on ESPN 100.3 FM from Sulphur

You can listen to all Brother Martin games from the Allstate Sugar Bowl LHSAA state tournament from McMurry Park in Sulphur on ESPN 100.3 FM and at ESPN1003.com beginning Thursday evening.

The No. 2 Crusaders will battle the No. 3 St. Paul’s Wolves at 7:30 p.m. in the Division I semifinals Thursday.

Jude Young of CrescentCitySports.com will provide play-by-play.

Should the Crusaders reach the championship game, you can listen to it at 3 p.m. Saturday on ESPN 100.3 FM and at ESPN1003.com.

The Crusaders (26-5) are led by junior and LSU commit Tre’ Morgan, who is hitting .494 with three home runs and 27 RBI while Southern Miss commit and senior Brady Faust is batting .352 with 16 RBI. Junior Brennan Stuprich is a standout two-way player. Stuprich is hitting .422 with a home run and 28 RBI and he is 9-1 with a 0.45 ERA on the mound. Senior Brandon Bonura is 6-2 with a 2.48 ERA.

St. Paul’s (25-6) advanced by sweeping No. 6 Evangel Christian in the quarterfinals. The Wolves reached the Division I title game a year ago.
