Brother Martin-Holy Cross basketball moved due to heating issues

The Tuesday night ninth grade, junior varsity and varsity district basketball games between Brother Martin and Holy Cross have been relocated to Holy Cross.

Heating issues at Conlin Gymnasium on the Brother Martin campus led to the switch to the Holy Cross gym. Tip off for the varsity game is 7 p.m. with the ninth and JV games the precede it starting at 4:30.

The schools will swap district dates, meaning Brother Martin will now host the games originally scheduled at Holy Cross for Friday, Jan. 26.

Tonight marks the opening of District 9-5A play.
