Brandon Efferson

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School is pleased to announce the promotion of Brandon Efferson to head baseball coach.

After completing his career at Southeastern Louisiana University, he spent three years as a pitcher in the Los Angeles Angels organization.

Coach Efferson brings with him a wealth of coaching experience at all levels. He has been a pitching coach at three major programs in Louisiana since his retirement from professional baseball. He began his coaching career at Central High School, followed by successful coaching stints at both Zachary High School (his Alma Mater) and now STA.

Regarding his selection as head baseball coach, Efferson said, “I’m excited about this opportunity to continue the success that St Thomas Aquinas baseball has had on and off the field for years now. I look forward to the challenge with such amazing players and administration while representing such a great school. Go Falcons!”

Athletic Director Randell Legette said, “Coach Efferson’s depth of knowledge from his prior career in baseball, as well as his knowledge of the program and expectations at STA, made him a natural choice to continue the legacy of great baseball and character development at STA.”
