Brady Benoit named St. Martin’s Baseball Program Director and Assistant Athletic Director
St. Martin’s Episcopal School has named Brady Benoit as its new baseball program director and assistant athletic director, effective beginning in the 2019–2020 school year. The announcement was made by Athletic Director Frank Gendusa.
With nearly two decades of coaching experience, Benoit is known for cultivating the talents of student-athletes, including many who have gone on to play in college.
“Brady is an excellent coach and will be a wonderful mentor and role model for our students and community,” said Gendusa. “I worked with Brady for six years at Fort Worth Country Day, and in that time I saw that he approaches his coaching and teaching commitments with enthusiasm, expert knowledge, and excellence.”
Benoit comes to St. Martin’s from Fort Worth Country Day School, where he has served as head baseball coach and assistant football coach since 2012. His baseball teams have had two Top 3 and five Top 5 finishes in the Southwest Preparatory Conference. Benoit also served as a middle school basketball coach and a P.E. teacher at FWCD.
A native of the greater New Orleans area, Benoit was a 4-year starter at Ridgewood Preparatory School and signed a baseball scholarship with the University of New Orleans, where he was a 4-year letter winner. He graduated from UNO with a B.S. in Marketing in 2000. Benoit has served as a teacher and coach at Ridgewood, Archbishop Rummel High School, and De La Salle.
