Bowling: Shaw defeats East Jefferson

Archbishop Shaw captured the first 16 points of the match and rolled to a 24½-2½ victory over East Jefferson Wednesday at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner.

The Eagles (3-3) used all 10 bowlers on their roster and no one bowled all three games. Jonathan Arena averaged 195 for two games to lead Shaw, while Josh Collins had a 206 final game.

Caleb Goetz led the Warriors (0-4) with a 421 series.

Wednesday’s match was a makeup of a postponement from Jan. 28.
