Bowling: Shaw boys, Kenner Discovery girls win
Archbishop Shaw won for the sixth time in seven matches this season, defeating Salmen 26-1 Tuesday at Bowling USA in Slidell.
The Eagles used all 10 bowlers on their roster, led by Jonathan Freeman’s 200 game in the opener and Joseph Jiminez’s 206 middle game.
Dustin Tobias’ 135 middle game paced the Spartans (0-6).
Kenner Discovery 22, Salmen 5 (girls): Also at Bowling USA, the Swamp Owls took seven of eight points in each of the first two games in defeating the Spartans.
Tessie Cahill opened with a 184 game while Madison Lemoine closed with a 182 as part of a team-high 475 series for Kenner Discovery (4-1).
Emily Floyd had an opening 163 as part of a 410 set for Salmen (1-4).
