Bowling: Holy Cross handles Jesuit

FINAL STATS

Holy Cross remained second in the New Orleans Prep Bowling League with a solid 18-9 victory over Jesuit Monday afternoon at AMF All-Star Lanes in Kenner.

The Tigers took game one 6-2 behind a 225 game from Gavin Mays while Bryan Arena shot 199. Jake Stiegler was the shining light for Jesuit with a 245 game while Grant Greco had a 180.

Holy Cross repeated the margin in game two, winning 6-2 as Arena shot 206 and Carter Holmes added a 197 game. Stiegler and Adam Francis each had a 197 game for the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays rallied to win game three 5-3 as Trent Greco shot 194 while Ben Hunn had a 192 game. Arena was best for Holy Cross with a 204 game while Trevan Burns had a 182.

Arena was tops for Holy Cross (7-1) with 609 series while Stiegler finished with a 613 series for Jesuit (5-3).
