Bowling: Hauck, Green make first cut at Teen Masters

Former Hammond standout Jayden Hauck and Liberty Magnet graduate Joshua Green each advanced out of qualifying late Wednesday at the Teen Masters Championships bowling tournament in Allen Park, Michigan.

Hauck is in 13th place in the girls division, averaging 184 for 18 qualifying games, and Green is tied for third in the boys division, averaging nearly 214.

After Thursday’s fourth round, the top 12 in each bracket advance to match play Friday.

The Teen Masters is unique in that each competitor must use only one bowling ball for the entire tournament.
