Bowling: Brother Martin rolls over St. Augustine

Brother Martin continued its early season assault on the lanes with a 27-0 whitewash of St. Augustine in New Orleans Prep Bowling League action Thursday afternoon at Colonial Lanes in Harahan to improve to 3-0.

The Crusaders shot 1,261 in an 8-0 victory in game one, led by Hunter Dunn with a 235, Drew Gardner had a 223 game, Cody Schaffer shot 213 and Will Oertling had a 203 game.

Dunn shot 223 as Brother Martin won game two 8-0.

In game three, the Crusaders shot 1,251 as Jonathan Fernandez fired a 264 game, Schaffer shot 224 and Brennan Brouliette had a 204 game.

Dunn led Brother Martin with a 642 series. Ryan Richard had a 159 game for St. Augustine.
