Bowling: Brother Martin remains unbeaten with shutout of Kenner Discovery

Make it 2-0 for the Brother Martin bowling team.

The Crusaders routed Kenner Discovery 27-0 at AMF All-Star Lanes in Kenner.

Brother Martin put on a show, firing a 3,768 series over three games, averaging 209.3 per bowler in a sensational performance.

The Crusaders show 1,264 in game one as Drew Gardner fired a 259 game, Cody Schaffer shot a 254, Hunter Dunn had a 246 and Jonathan Fernandez had a 218 game.

Brother Martin shot 1,199 in game two as Dunn fashioned a 279 game while Schaffer had a 236 game.

The Crusaders saved their best for last with a huge 1,305 in game three as Schaffer finished off a masterful 749 series with a 259 game. Fernandez was huge with a 278 game and Carson Sheehan shot 206. Dunn finished with a 715 series on games of 246-279-190.

Dominic Orlando was best for Kenner Discovery with a 585 series on games of 203-193-189.

The Crusaders return to action Thursday against St. Augustine at 3:30 p.m. at Colonial Lanes.
