Bowling: Brother Martin drills Pearl River
The juggernaut that is Brother Martin bowling continues to roll, if you will pardon the pun.
The Crusaders remained unbeaten with a convincing 24-3 win over Pearl River at Colonial Lanes in Harahan in New Orleans prep bowling league action Monday afternoon.
Once again, Brother Martin was on fire, shooting a 3,765 team series, averaging 209.1 per bowler in a very impressive performance.
Drew Gardner led a potent attack, shooting a 729 series on games of 278-214-237 while Cody Schaffer fired a 703 series with games of 253-246-204. Will Oertling had a 613 series which included games of 225 and 223. Brandon Bonvillain had a 233 game, Jonathan Fernandez shot 225 and Hunter Dunn dialed up a 213 game for the Crusaders (9-0).
Christian Kelch was best for the Rebels (6-3) with a 597 series, including games of 215 and 202. Cameron Kelch added a 224 game for Pearl River.
