Despite coming off of a tough 2017 season, the Bonnabel Bruins had a ray of sunlight today with three seniors signing Letters of Intent.

Henry White IV, Jordan Dufrene and Terrance Massey will be heading north to continue their education and football careers at Minnesota West Community & Technical College.

Another Bruins senior, Byron Smith, is still juggling three school options but indicated he will be making a decision soon

White IV, the district wrestling champ, will also wrestle for the Blue Jays. He will be participating in the upcoming state wrestling championship.

“The kids were very excited for this day to come and it could not have happen to a better group of young men,” Bonnabel football coach Daryl Thomas said. “This is what happens when hard work, dedication, and commitment come together. Days like this is one example of the benefits of the hard work being paid off. Hopefully, this is a sign of the tide changing for Bonnabel.”

Principal Dawn Kalb said, “We are very proud of our Bruins and believe they will represent us very well both academically and athletically. We thank you, parents, for in trusting us with educating your children and allowing us to play a big part of their lives. Once a Bruin, always a Bruin.”
