Harris batted .322 with two home runs, 17 RBI and 14 stolen bases for the Crusaders this past season at shortstop.
Johnson hit .364 with 19 RBI and nine stolen bases while playing centerfield for the Raiders.
“Lance played all four years on varsity and he is an outstanding kid who really understands the game,” Rummel coach Frank Cazeaux said. “He is a baseball player who can do a lot of things well. He understands the game and is a great person who will be very successful.”
Both are playing summer baseball for the Gibbs Construction American Legion team.
“Ben is an excellent player who played a key spot and one of the toughest positions on the field,” Brother Martin coach Jeff Lupo said. “He was a big part of the success that we experienced. We are happy for him and it is great that he will get the chance to play locally.”
