Coming off of a rare loss, Riverside (25-2) hosts traditional power University High (16-9) at 6:30 p.m. Monday evening.

The Rebels defeated the Cubs 74-70 in the Allstate Sugar Bowl National Prep Classic on Jan. 4 in Westwego. University High has won three straight while the Rebels have lost two of their last three games after starting the season 24-0. Of course, those two losses came at the hands of unbeaten Rayville and red hot Country Day.

In girls action, John Curtis Christian (25-1, 4-0) travels to Metairie to take on Archbishop Chapelle (18-10, 2-2) in District 9-5A play. The Lady Patriots are rolling, winners of 17 straight games and as the top team in the Division I power rankings. Curtis routed the Chipmunks 50-13 on Jan. 25 at River Ridge.
