Basketball Report: Destrehan boys, Chapelle girls win openers
It was a good start to the season for the Destrehan boys and the Archbishop Chapelle girls Wednesday.
The Wildcats opened play in the Grace King Tournament in Metairie with a solid 71-43 victory over Belle Chasse while the Chipmunks traveled to Marrero and came away with a convincing 47-20 victory over Academy of Our Lady.
The Wildcats continue play in the Grace King tournament today while Chapelle hosts Mandeville Friday at 6 p.m.
