LSU’s Will Wade landed a commitment from the 15th rated player in the country Friday.

Julian Phillips pledged for the Tigers’ 2022 class.

The 6-foot-8, 200 pounder out of Branson, Missouri paired his final list to LSU, USC, Tennessee and Florida State. His visit to Baton Rouge went exceptionally well. He loved the campus and LSU basketball facilities.

Phillips averaged 20 points and 10 boards per outing last season a Link Year Prep.

LSU’s roster should be in constant motion the next couple of seasons ; laying time as a freshman is very important to Phillips., and he is likely to see plenty of it.

His outside shot needs improvement but he is an explosive leaper who is outstanding finishing at the rim.
