Area Prep Basketball Report for Thursday, Jan. 16

In girls action, M.L. King Charter handled Bonnabel 54-37.

Dalyn Belvin came up huge, scoring 30 points with seven steals, four rebounds and two assists for the Lady Jags. D. Powell added 12 points and four steals.

M.L. King Charter (10-3) returns to action this evening at Sophie B. Wright at 5 p.m. while Bonnabel (8-4) saw its six-game win streak snapped. The Bruins will host Patrick Taylor Friday at 5:30 p.m.
