Basketball: Delgado takes two conference wins over Southern Shreveport

The Dolphins defeated Southern University-Shreveport in both conference matchups Saturday in the Williamson Center.

In the Women’s game, the Lady Dolphins carried a 38-28 lead into the half before cruising through the second half enroute to a 64-50 win over Southern Shreveport. Delgado was led offensively by Casey Harris with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

The Men’s team carried a 45-24 lead at the half before an eventual 92-59 victory. Traysion Wilburn led with 27 points . Tony White and Jalvin Mitchell each had 12. Jaden Clark had 10 rebounds.

Delgado will travel to Shreveport for a rematch on Wednesday.
