Area Prep Basketball Report for Wednesday, Jan. 26

Carver (21-5), which has won six straight games, returns to District 11-4A action Thursday at Warren Easton while Scotlandville (17-5) lost its fourth straight game against stiff competition and the Hornets will host Jehovah-Jireh next Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Seniors Tierra Sylvas and Tiarra Tillison led the way for the Lady Panthers with 29 and 21 points, respectively while Cherie Spencer scored 18 points.

Northshore (19-7, 7-1) remained second in the district behind unbeaten Ponchatoula. The Lady Panthers travel to Mandeville Friday at 6 p.m. in district play. Slidell (11-13, 1-7) is back in action at Lakeshore this evening at 6 p.m.
