Basketball: Brother Martin, Shaw post wins Saturday
Area Prep Basketball Report for Sunday, Nov. 20
Brother Martin won its season opener in easy fashion over Cohen at home Saturday evening, 64-18.
DJ Fowler led the Crusaders with 17 points while Parker Dinsdale finished with 16 points.
The Crusaders return to action Monday in tournament action at home in the Crusader Invitational against Covington at 7 p.m.
The Green Hornets (1-1) will play at M.L. King Charter Tuesday at 3 p.m.
Archbishop Shaw made it 2-0 on the season with a tough 55-50 home win over Slidell.
Senior captain Kam Johnson returned to action and was brilliant, scoring 28 points. Xavier Meyers added 13 points and Chris Creppel scored 11 points.
The Eagles will participate in the West Harrison Tournament this week.
The Tigers (0-4) are back in action Nov. 28 at home against St. Thomas Aquinas.
