Baseball: Tuesday’s games washed out with more rainouts expected

Area Prep Baseball Report for Wednesday, Feb. 20

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day!

Too much rain, followed by heavy fog was too much to overcome for any prep baseball games in the New Orleans area to be played Tuesday, resulting in all being postponed or canceled.

There are three games scheduled for the New Orleans area today but the forecast is certainly not promising.

Helen Cox and McDonogh 35 are scheduled to play at 4 p.m.

North of the lake, Amite is set to play at Jewel Sumner at 5 p.m., and Independence heads to Varnado at 6 p.m.
