Area Prep Baseball Report for Saturday, Mar. 4

In its own tournament, Jesuit defeated Ascension Episcopal 7-3 at John Ryan Stadium on Friday.

Tulane commit William Good had three hits, including a double with three RBI while Gates Barre’ had a triple and two RBI. Hunter Oufnac had three hits and a run scored and Everett Denny had two hits and scored twice.

Barre’ picked up the win in relief for the Blue Jays (6-1), pitching two and a third perfect innings and he struck out four. Bryce Pitts went four and two-thirds innings, allowing two earned runs on five hits.
