Baby Cakes-Redbirds game Monday rescheduled for Tuesday doubleheader due to rain

Monday’s game between the New Orleans Baby Cakes and Memphis Redbirds was postponed due to rain and wet grounds, the team announced after flooding conditions hit the metro area.

The postponed game will be made up as part of a doubleheader starting on Tuesday afternoon at 4. Fans holding tickets to Monday’s game can redeem them for any of the three remaining home dates this season.

The Baby Cakes are hosting the Redbirds in their final home series of the season. After the home finale Thursday, New Orleans visits Oklahoma City for the final four games of the season starting Friday night.
