Baby Cakes rained out Thursday

Metairie, LA – Thursday’s game between the New Orleans Baby Cakes and Omaha Storm Chasers was called after three innings due to rain and wet grounds.

The teams were tied 4-4 after three innings. As it was the final scheduled meeting of the season between the teams, the game will not be resumed or made up, and the stats will not count. JT Riddle and Austin Dean had homered for the Baby Cakes, while Erick Mejia hit a three-run shot for the Storm Chasers.

Fans holding tickets to Thursday’s game can be redeem them for a ticket to any of the four remaining games for the 2019 season, next Monday-Thursday against the Memphis Redbirds, Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.
