Baby Cakes partner with American Red Cross, Junior League of N.O. in Harvey relief efforts

Metairie, LA – The New Orleans Baby Cakes will be raising money and supplies for victims of Hurricane Harvey during the team’s final homestand of the season from September 1-4.

From each ticket sold during for the four games, $1 will be donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief fund, and will be matched by MiLB Charities. Donations will also be accepted at Customer Service during the games.

By making a donation, fans will be able to enter a drawing to win prizes ranging from autographed baseballs from current Major League home run leader Giancarlo Stanton and Hall of Famer Andre Dawson, to 2018 season experiences such as ceremonial first pitches and exclusive field access. All proceeds will be donated to hurricane relief.

Additionally, the ‘Cakes have teamed with the Junior League of New Orleans to collect supplies for storm victims. Fans bringing the following items to Sunday’s Fan Appreciation Night will receive a FREE ticket to the 6 p.m. game, which features postgame fireworks:

Diaper Cream
Feminine Products
Gift Cards in $20 amounts to Target or Wal-Mart
