Baby Cakes game cancelled Thursday due to unplayable field

METAIRIE – Thursday’s scheduled game between the New Orleans Baby Cakes and Albuquerque
Isotopes was cancelled due to wet grounds.

Heavy rains throughout the day led to unplayable field conditions, and the game was called following a
delay of one hour as the grounds crew attempted to work on the field.

Since this was the final meeting of the season between the Baby Cakes and Isotopes, the game will not
be rescheduled.

Fans holding tickets to Thursday’s game can be redeem them for a ticket to any Baby Cakes game for
the remainder of the 2017 season, subject to availability.

The ‘Cakes travel to Colorado Springs to open a four-game weekend series on Friday, and return home
on Tuesday, August 15 against the Round Rock Express.
