Recruiting: John Curtis RB Aaron Johnson Jr. headed to Tyler Community College
John Curtis relied heavily on it’s ground attack enroute to capturing the Div I state title in ’22 and RB Aaron Johnson, Jr. was a key component to that success as a runner and blocker. The 6-1, 210 is headed to Tyler JUCO for the ’23 season.
He accumulated 712 yards and 4 touchdowns for the Patriots. As a power runner with toughness , he presents quite a challenge for one defender to handle. He boasts a 500 lbs. squat and 265 lbs. power clean. He runs very well between the tackles but is elusive enough to bounce outside. He excels as a lead blocker on running plays from a FB position.
