In a District 6-II showdown, Lakeshore edged Ben Franklin 1-0 Saturday at home for its seventh straight win.

Brynn Olagues scored the lone goal off of a corner kick to provide the Titans with the margin of victory.

Lakeshore came in as No. 1 in the most recent LHSAA Division II power rankings while Ben Franklin was sixth.

Lakeshore (15-4-1, 6-0) returns to district play Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Franklinton while the Falcons (12-2-1), who lost for the first time since Dec. 5, will host Destrehan Monday at 6:30 in a non-district contest.
