It wasn’t Saturday night in Tiger Stadium but it was a good one for LSU.

Archbishop Rummel wide receiver Koy Moore committed to the Tigers during his birthday party Saturday night live on WVUE-TV.

The 6-foot-1, 175 pounder had originally pledged to USC’s 2020 class just over a year ago before reopening the process for interested Power 5 programs around the country.

“I think he is the latest in the long line of outstanding receivers at Rummel,” Jay Roth said before retiring as Rummel’s head coach. “He has a good work ethic, he is unselfish, has speed and is physically strong. He has all of the attributes to be an outstanding college receiver. We are counting on him being our go-to guy this year. We need to find a way to get him the ball frequently.”

Moore is the 23rd commitment for LSU’s 2020 class.
