AOL handles Holy Rosary on lanes

Academy of Our Lady opened its Greater New Orleans Prep Bowling League season with a solid 24-3 victory over Holy Rosary at AMF All-Star Lanes in Kenner Wednesday.

The Penguins won all three games by the same 7-1 margin.

Danielle Poussard was best for the Penguins with a 204 game as part of a 450 series. Erin Burkart fired a 211 game for AOL. Shelby Elwin had a 189, Linzie Bladsacker shot 190 and Lauren Michel contributed a 177 game.

Bailey James led Holy Rosary with a 159 game as part of a 437 series.
