Anthony Davis signs with agent of LeBron James

Pelicans All-Star forward Anthony Davis has signed with Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, the agency which represents LeBron James.

Davis led the Pelicans to the second round of the playoffs last spring to cap a first-team All-NBA campaign. He let go of his agent Thad Foucher earlier this month.

With two years and $52 million left on his contract with the Pelicans, Davis also holds a $29 million player option for the 2020-21 season. After this upcoming season, he will be eligible to receive a supermax extension from New Orleans that can reach a total of $230 million over five years.
