Annual Luncheon to be Held Tuesday, May 7 at the Superdome

NEW ORLEANS – The Allstate Sugar Bowl Chapter of the National Football Foundation/College Football Hall of Fame will hold its 2019 Awards Luncheon in the St. Charles Club Room at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Tuesday, May 7 at 11:30 a.m.

The event will honor local high school football players for their achievements in the classroom and on the football field. Four of the student-athletes being honored will be selected to receive Allstate Sugar Bowl Scholarships for $20,000 each. In addition, two major honors, the Contribution to American Football Award and the Distinguished American Award, will be presented.

Archie Manning, the national chairman of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame, will recognize each of the student athletes at the event. The honorees will be chosen from a nominated group of talented scholar athletes from the New Orleans area.
