Alex Bregman to participate in Home Run Derby

Houston Astros All-Star third baseman Alex Bregman will participate in the 2018 T-Mobile Home Run Derby.

The former LSU star’s first time competing in the event coincides with his with his first All-Star selection in his second full season in the Major Leagues. Bregman will be the fifth different Astros player to take part in a Home Run Derby.

The annual event held on the eve of the All-Star Game airs live Monday, July 16 at 7:00 p.m. CT from Washington D.C. on ESPN.
