Aaron Anderson of Karr named Greater New Orleans Prep Player of the Week

Aaron Anderson

Karr senior wide receiver and kick return specialist Aaron Anderson has been named as the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl Prep Player of the Week in the Greater New Orleans area for week three by CrescentCitySports.com, Ken Trahan’s Original Prep Football Report on NASH ICON 106.1 FM, the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club and for Friday Night Football on WNOL/WGNO.

A senior and LSU commit, Anderson had 238 yards and three touchdowns on kick returns and had six catches for 67 yards as Karr downed John Curtis Christian 33-19 in a game nationally televised on ESPN2.

Anderson returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown, returned a punt 88 yards for a score and returned a free kick 60 yards for another touchdown.

Anderson is coached by Brice Brown. He will be honored at the year-end meeting of the Greater New Orleans Quarterback Club on Dec. 14 at Rock’n’Bowl.
