A pair of local teams have earned top seeds for the LHSAA soccer state playoffs.

In the Division I girls bracket, Dominican (24-1-1) earned the top seed and will entertain No. 32 H.L. Bourgeois.

No. 2 St. Joseph’s Academy (16-1-3) plays host to No. 31 Zachary. The Redstickers whipped the Broncos 9-1 on Jan. 14.

It will be a familiar matchup as No. 3 Northshore (19-3) welcomes No. 30 Ponchatoula (9-7-2). The Lady Panthers downed the Lady Green Wave 7-1 on Jan. 11.

No. 4 Captain Shreve (23-1-3) will host No. 29 Denham Springs.

St. Scholastica (13-6-1) is the sixth seed and the Doves await No. 27 Pineville.

Defending state champion Mount Carmel Academy (12-6-6) earned the ninth seed and the Cubs will host No. 24 New Iberia.

No. 11 Mandeville (17-10-1) plays host to No. 22 St. Amant.

No. 12 Fontainebleau (14-5-4) is at home against No. 21 Acadiana.

No. 17 Hahnville (13-8-1) travels to No. 16 Live Oak.

In Division II, defending state champion St. Thomas More (22-2-1) is the top seed and gets a bye, along with No. 2 Caddo Magnet (13-5-3), No. 3 Vandebilt Catholic (17-8-2) and No. 4 Neville (13-9-2).

Also getting byes are No. 6 Lakeshore (11-7-4) and eighth seed Ben Franklin (13-6-2).

No. 18 Bonnabel (8-2-5) travels to No. 15 Beau Chene.

No. 19 East Jefferson (6-6-3) goes to Monroe to face No. 14 Ouachita Parish.

No. 20 Belle Chasse (10-6) makes a long trip to No. 13 West Ouachita.

No. 23 Archbishop Chapelle (3-6-3) goes to No. 10 Tioga.

In Division III, defending state champion University High (13-3-4) earned the top seed while Loyola Prep (11-5-4) is second, St. Michael (13-4-5) is third and Parkview Baptist (11-3-4) is fourth. All receive byes.

Also getting a bye are No. 5 Archbishop Hannan (12-5-3) and No. 7 Lusher Charter (13-1-2).

No. 9 Lutcher (8-5-4) plays host to No. 24 David Thibodaux.

A pair of local teams square off as No. 17 Haynes Academy (10-7-1) meets No. 16 Cabrini (7-5-3).

No. 19 Pearl River (8-8-1) plays at No. 14 South Beauregard Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

No. 23 Patrick Taylor (6-7-2) goes north to face No. 10 Sterlington.

In Division IV, Catholic of New Iberia (21-3-1) is the top seed and receives a bye, along with defending state champion and No. 2 seed Newman (10-3-7), No. 3 Houma Christian (15-0-1) and No. 4 Ouachita Christian (16-3-2).

Also getting byes are No. 5 Pope John Paul II (13-3-2) and No. 7 Academy of The Sacred Heart of New Orleans (9-6-2).

No. 9 McGehee (12-6-2) is at home against No. 24 Delta Charter.

No. 18 Northlake Christian (10-7-1) hits the road to No. 15 St. Frederick.

No. 19 Country Day (3-12) is at No. 14 Highland Baptist.

No. 22 Thomas Jefferson (14-5-4) goes to No. 11 Episcopal of Acadiana.

In the Division I boys bracket, defending state champion Catholic of Baton Rouge (14-0-3) is the top seed. The Bears will host No. 32 John Ehret in the opening round.

Jesuit (14-2-5) is the second seed and the Blue Jays will entertain No. 31 Slidell in the opening round.

No. 3 St. Paul’s (16-3-6) plays host to No. 30 East Ascension.

No 4 Alexandria hosts No. 29 Fontainebleau (12-9).

Brother Martin (8-5-6) earned the seventh seed and the Crusaders entertain No. 26 Walker.

Talented No. 8 seed Archbishop Rummel (20-6-2) will face a familiar opponent, hosting No. 5 Zachary Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. The Raiders won at Zachary 4-1 on Jan. 27.

Grace King (13-2) earned a home game as the 15th seed and will play host to No. 18 Baton Rouge.

No. 20 Mandeville makes a long trek to No. 13 Captain Shreve.

No. 21 Hahnville (12-6-3) is a live underdog and travels to Denham Springs.

In Division II, St. Thomas More (14-3-4) is the top seed and gets a bye.

Four-time defending state champion Holy Cross (19-6-1) is the second seed and the Tigers get a bye.

East Jefferson(15-6) is a dangerous third seed and Neville is seeded fourth and both receive byes, as does No. 7 Ben Franklin (15-5-4).

No. 10 Bonnabel (11-5-3) gets a visit from No. 23 Carencro.

No. 11 Archbishop Shaw (11-8-3) plays host to No. 22 Lakeshore (6-12-3).

Belle Chasse (7-6-4) gets the 16th seed and the Cardinals will entertain #17 Woodlawn of Baton Rouge Tuesday at 6 p.m.

No. 19 Riverdale (8-6-3) will travel to No. 14 Beau Chene.

In Division III, Vandebilt Catholic (19-4-2) is the No. 1 seed and the Terriers get a bye, along with No. 2 University High (17-2-3).

Defending state champion Lusher Charter (20-3-2) is seeded third and gets a bye, as does No. 4 Bossier.

No. 10 Archbishop Hannan (9-9-3) plays host to No. 23 Erath.

In a, instant rematch contest, No. 13 Haynes Academy (12-8-1) will entertain No. 20 E.D. White Catholic. The Yellow Jackets edged the Cardinals 3-2 in Thibodaux on Jan. 25.

In a rematch of local teams, No. 18 Kenner Discovery (9-6-3) heads to No. 15 New Orleans Military & Maritime (11-8-1). The Swamp Owls beat NOMMA 1-0 on Jan. 21.

No. 24 Lutcher (7-12-2) travels to No. 9 Leesville.

In Division IV, defending state champion Pope John Paul II (13-1-5) is the top seed and receives a bye, along with No. 2 Episcopal of Acadiana (14-3-2), No. 3 Episcopal, No. 4 Northlake Christian (17-2) and No. 8 St. Martin’s Episcopal (9-7-3).

No. 9 Morris Jeff Community (8-5-4) entertains No. 24 Evangel Christian Academy.

Newman (8-8-3) is seeded 10th and will host No. 23 Glenmora.

No. 14 Country Day (9-5-2) gets a home match against No. 19 Covenant Christian. The Cajuns beat the Lions 3-0 at home on Jan. 6.

No. 16 St. Charles Catholic (13-6-1) gets a home game against No. 17 Lafayette Christian Tuesday at 6 p.m.

No. 18 St. Thomas Aquinas (8-7-3) will travel to No. 15 Dunham.
